Agri-Tourism Activities on Strawberry Farms

SFPCL intends to establish a strawberry agri-tourism facility aimed at providing visitors with a comprehensive understanding of the strawberry value chain, including cultivation, harvesting, post-harvest handling, and processing into various products such as jams, juices, chocolates, and pulp. The facility is designed to allow direct engagement of visitors, enabling them to experience farming practices and understand the processes involved in producing high-quality strawberries.

The initiative is expected to promote awareness and appreciation of strawberry farming, thereby enhancing the visibility and marketability of strawberry products. Additionally, by attracting tourists to the region, the facility will contribute to the socio-economic development of local communities, providing supplementary income opportunities for farmers and allied stakeholders.\n\nThe agri-tourism facility forms an integral part of SFPCL's integrated strawberry ecosystem, complementing other initiatives such as cold storage, blast-freezing, pulping, and wine production, and further strengthens the Company's strategy of value addition, market expansion, and farmer empowerment.
