Chairman’s Message

Sandip Jawale, Chairman

When we started Saptashrungi Farmer Producer Company Ltd. in 2014, one question guided us: Can small farmers earn a dignified living while consumers get safe, quality food? Too often rural families migrate to cities and still lack dignity — so can we strengthen rural communities and connect them fairly with urban markets? That vision has driven my work in agriculture and rural development ever since.

In 2014 that purpose took shape as Saptashrungi FPC — a farmer-owned institution where every member has a stake, a voice, and room to grow. Where others treat farmer welfare as one activity among many, we built the whole organisation as a movement to make agriculture a stable, respected livelihood.

Our systems are rooted in trust and transparency: fair returns for produce, fewer middlemen, and benefit reaching the farmer. We improve incomes through stronger market linkages, honest trade and pricing, partnerships with buyers, modern practices, and value addition — and we are building organised supply chains, value-added products, technology for efficiency and traceability, and long-term ties in domestic and institutional markets. Our aim is crop-specific integrated value chains, powered by technology and sound management.

This farmer-owned structure has become farmers' true ally — not merely a company, but a collective determined to shape a better future through unity, discipline, and smart work. As Chairman, I am committed to decisions that add real value for our farmers and strengthen this organisation for the long term.

“Building dignity and prosperity for farmers through trust and fair value.”

Chief Operating Officer’s Message

Prakash Mondhe, Chief Operating Officer

At Saptashrungi Farmer Producer Company, our journey began with a simple yet powerful vision — to empower farmers, strengthen rural economies, and build a sustainable agricultural ecosystem.

As a farmer-led organization, we deeply understand the real challenges faced at the ground level — from market access and price realization to infrastructure and knowledge gaps. Our mission is to bridge these gaps by creating an integrated value chain that connects farmers directly to markets, technology, and opportunities.

We strongly believe that when farmers unite as a collective force, they can achieve far greater success than working individually. Through our focused interventions in crops such as strawberries, grapes, onion, and tomato, we are improving productivity, enhancing market linkages, and ensuring better income for our farmer members.

Our approach is centered on inclusive and sustainable growth — where every farmer benefits, every effort is valued, and every success is shared.

As a Chief Operating Officer, I am committed to building a strong, execution-driven organization that delivers real impact on the ground. We are continuously working towards creating scalable models, strengthening farmer networks, and establishing Saptashrungi FPC as a benchmark in the agricultural sector.

We envision a future where farmer institutions lead the transformation of Indian agriculture — and Saptashrungi FPC is proud to be part of that journey.

“Together, we grow. Together, we succeed.”
