Collaboration between Saptashrungi FPCL and BIL to increase productivity and profitability of farmers through better guidance, quality produce, and judicious use of agrochemicals.

Purpose

• To increase productivity and profitability of farmers in a sustainable way by providing right guidance.
• To collaborate for getting a better quality of Vegetables and Fruits from the farmers.
• To provide training and awareness on appropriate / judicious use of Agrochemicals to improve their quality and yield.
• To make the Products available to farmers at nearby dealers' / retailers' level.

Roles and Responsibilities of SAPTASHRUNGI FPCL

• To provide the list of the associated database farmers to work upon
• To ensure uniform communication on crop protection, align the field team SAPTASHRUNGI FPCL with BIL as per agreed POP.
• SAPTASHRUNGI FPCL will support BIL in following the recommendations provided by BIL as per agreed POP by the farmers.
• Support BIL team in laying its package trials at their associated farmers plots

Roles & Responsibilities of BIL

• To designate project coordinator / field associates in targeted geographies to support market development activities
• To provide the promotional/training material at their own cost.
• Connect SAPTASHRUNGI FPCL staff with project coordinator / field associates
• To depute sufficient number of personnel with relevant background and knowledge for the purpose of carrying out training to farmers.
• Organizing visits of subject matter specialists to the farmer fields
• Package demonstration at SAPTASHRUNGI FPCL associated farmers and followed by MRL & PHI studies to ensure export worthiness of the final produce.
• To facilitate the availability of Products at nearby dealers / retailers' level.
• Extend digital support in educating associated farmers remotely on judicious usage of recommended inputs.
